Winnie Marie Gilchrist, age 59, was sent to the angels on Friday, January 1, 2016.
She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a graduate of PGT Beauregard Class of 1976. She was a resident of Picayune for the past 19 years.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Reeves officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
She is survived by her loving father, James H. Gilchrist; five siblings, Hilda Bailey, Peggy Roux (Ned), Perry Gilchrist, Shelia LeBlanc (Harold), and Lisa Lanzetta; nieces and nephews, Wallace Bailey, Raymond Kaufmann Jr. (Brooke), Rachel K. Barbin (Jerome), and Perry J. Gilchrist, Jr.; six great-nieces and nephews, Dalton, Davin, Alex, Nicki, Amelie, and Carson.
She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Theresa Gilchrist; and one nephew, Eddie Ray Bailey.
